Petersburg is located in the southeast panhandle of Alaska, approx. 700 miles north of Seattle. Our school district serves over 450 students, K-12 with 46 certified staff and 37 support staff.

Three school make up the Petersburg City Schools:

Mitkof Middle School, 6-8
Petersburg High School 9-12
